Thundercake!

Last week we had some major thunder and lightening. That day we went to the library and found a book called "Thundercake", not knowing the weather forecast for that night. Besides being a sweet story with some Russian in it, the book had a recipe in the back of it to make a chocolate cake (and it called for tomatoes!). It was pretty fun to go collect the ingredients from our lovely and generous neighbors' garden. We made the cake and passed it out to the neighbors. I highly recommend this book and this baking activity!
